New Upcoming Movies 2021 : Top 5 Films To Look Forward to

If we are being completely honest, one of the many things we completely miss about the so-called old normal is watching movies on the big screen, in a huge theatre and with a sea of strangers in attendance. For some reason, watching movies in a full-on cinema setting just gave a whole different experience. 

While we are still a long shot from being able to do that again, the good news is that the list of new upcoming movies 2021 is one that is worth looking forward to. With a mix of action movies 2021, horror, drama, romcom and more – here is a list of the Top 5 Films we’re looking forward to the most, along with their expected release dates. 

Escape Room 2 

Starring : Holland Roden, Indya Moore, Isabelle Fuhrman, Taylor Russell

In case you were not able to watch the first one. Escape Room was one of the most well-loved action movies of 2019. It follows the story of a few handpicked individuals invited for an escape room game only for things to take a wrong (and very creepy turn). For the second installment, expect to have an even crazier set of mazes and rooms that the new protagonists will have to endure. Rumor has it that the movie is set to be released in January 2021. 

The Last Night In Soho 

This psychological thriller follows the story of a young girl who is so immensely passionate about fashion design. Mysteriously, she finds herself in the 1960s where she gets the chance to meet her idol who is a dazzling wannabe singer. Unfortunately for her, 1960s London not what she thought it would be – and her choices from then on all come with shady consequences.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings 

Okay, Marvel fans, listen up : Another Marvel Action and Fantasy Film is set to be released next year and our hopes are pretty high that it is going to be one of the best movies 2021. So far, what we know is that this hero is the master of unarmed combat so as far as that goes – we cannot wait to see what extraordinary things he can bring to the table. 

Eternals 

Here is another one for the Marvel fans. Because honestly, you can never have too many superhero movies in a year and we’re here for it! The Eternals will be following the story of what comes after the unexpected tragedy of the Avengers : EndGame. In this movie, the Eternals – a secret race of aliens who have been inhabiting earth for thousands of years will finally be coming together to protect the humanity from the deviants, their evil counterparts. 

Spiral : From The Book of the Saw

Did you love the movie, The Saw? This crime-horror-mystery movie will definitely tickle your fancies. At the moment, what we know for sure is that it is already the ninth installment in the Saw series. According to the film’s official synopsis, the plot follows a group of investigators find themselves unraveling mysteries about murders which are very much reminiscent of what took place in the town in the past. As they get more and more entrapped into the mystery, they find themselves in the center of the killer’s morbid game.
